University Degree in Engineering field Or master Degree in Engineering Field with minimum of(5) years of related experience.
Job holder is responsible for performing engineering function related to Generation Projects Planning such as:
• Coordinate and prepare Specifications and Scope of work for Generation projects and Consultants services contracts.
• Evaluate contractor’s technical submittals, prepare recommendations, and respond to bidder’s technical queries and clarifications.
• Participate in the pre qualification of Generation projects manufacturers, contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with Technical Services Departments to unify specifications of power plants systems upgrading projects.
• Coordinate bidder’s site visits and attend kick off meeting
• Act as technical contractual reference for clarifications made by Project Management Departments during project execution.

Job holder is responsible for performing engineering functions related to Generation Projects Design activities such as:
• Prepare preliminary design concepts for Generation projects based on the approved specifications.
• Review and approve contractor’s design calculations and detailed drawings.
• Conduct prequalification of Generation projects manufactures, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that the design modifications performed during project execution are technically accepted.
• Ensure that the factory test results are within accepted limits.
• Coordinate with Technical Services Departments to unify design of power plants systems upgrading projects.
• Participate in project acceptance activities and witness provisional and Find Tests.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to follow up latest trends and developments in the field.
