1. EMS Specialist - Ref No: TOD/22/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering. |
|
|
|
10 years or more experience in Power system studies field Management and shall be responsible for the Energy Management System requirements for administration, maintenance, and usage of the software, and databases. The work includes but not limited to the following: Coordinate and manage EMS engineering projects, Interacts with other departments regarding EMS, Review the equipment/circuit parameter, Keep the EMS applications usable, Provide support and troubleshoot for any problem faced by the users, and Conduct training on all EMS applications. |

2. Dispatcher Training Simulator Trainer - Ref No: TOD/23/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering. |
|
|
|
10 years or more experience in Power system studies field Management and shall be responsible for the DTS application and training activities. The work includes but not limited to the following: Review the equipment/circuit parameter for the DTS application, Supervise the installation / modification / update of the DTS, Keep the DTS applications usable, and Arrange the DTS trainings with different scenarios. |

3. Manager-Protection - Ref No: TOD/24/06 |

Master in System protection |
|
|
|
Minimum 15 or higher in world known Power utility in similar position. The Job role is to manage and supervise all Transmission Protection related activities and administrative activities of PCS section and develops programmed for section improvement. The candidates shall have following responsibility. Manage and supervise all functions of the section and ensure proper implementation of all dept. /section rules,Prepare rules & procedures and maintain high quality of PCS operational skills.Review performance of the engineers & plan training programmed for improvement of individual.Review & update procedures & instruction on regular basis and propose Improvement of the section.Manpower planning & budgeting for PCS section. |

4. Dy.Manager-Protection - Ref No: TOD/25/06 |

|
B.E (Electrical Engineering) |
|
|
|
Minimum 10-12 years or higher in world known Power utility in similar position. The Job role is to assist Manager-PCS & Coordinate 400/132/33/11kV protection related activities in efficient manner. The candidates shall have the responsibility to maintain high quality of working environment by supervising staff in system protection related activities.Capable to supervise & lead a team of Protection engineers.To plan and coordinate protection related activities with in the PCS staff as well as with the other Depts. Develop Training Programmed for PCS Engineer to utilize protection software. Assure timely completion of all protection assignment & follow up issue. Manpower planning & budgeting for PCS section. |

5. System Protection Specialist - Ref No: TOD/26/06 |

Master in System protection |
|
|
|
Minimum 15 or higher in world known Power utility in similar position. The Job role is To support & provide guide lines to DEWA Protection team in handling of protection related matters such as Protection coordination, short circuit studies, updating of short circuit models, monitoring of protection principal and practices with in DEWA. Candidates shall have following responsibility. Perform the protection relay coordination study for DWA transmission network and give recommendation to enhance the system stability.Develop a guideline for relay setting calculation in DEWA system.Prepared Protection specification, code & standard for DEWA network.Review the existing protection logic & give recommendation in Line with modern protection practices. To train a team of protection engineer in the subject of protection. |

6. Senior Engineer Protection - Ref No: TOD/27/06 |

|
|
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Higher |
|
|
|
Minimum 8-10 Years Experience in Power Utility. Shall have excellent knowledge of EHV Transmission protection up to 400kV.The job role is to study & review EHV protection system with following responsibilities.Review protection philosophy, perform protection setting calculation.Prepare training programmed for subordinates,Power system disturbance analysis.Approval of new protection devices.Candidates shall have experience in protection Simulation software CAPE or equivalent. With excellent verbal, technical report writing skills. |

7. Engineer System Protection - Ref No: TOD/28/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering |
|
|
|
Minimum 6-8 Years Experience in Power Utility. Shall have excellent knowledge of EHV Transmission protection up to 400kV.The job role is to review Protection setting calculation for new projects with following responsibility. Perform system disturbance analysis. Shall have experience in Protection setting software CAPE or equivalent. Should be Team player & self starter. Shall have excellent command over verbal, technical report writing skills. |

8. Technical Trainer - Ref No: TOD/29/06 |
|
|
|
Graduate in Electrical Engineering. |
|
|
|
Should have 7-10 years experience in power system utility (HV system) utilizing SCADA. Shall be capable of handling all Training related activities of the department. Should be capable of planning, developing and executing effective training program for the staff based upon best practices. Should Coordinate and arrange for implementation of internal/external training program for the staff. Should Formulate training procedures, manuals etc. Should Maintain training records, reports, KPI etc and do require Coordination. Shall develop methodology to evaluate and assess staff. Should have Computer Literacy, good communication & presentation skills with excellent knowledge of network studies and safety in power utility. |
