1. Manager-Control Room - Ref No: TOD/07/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering |
|
|
|
12- 15 years Experience in Power Utility. Should have excellent knowledge of Operations involved in 400/132kV Substations and in Generating Stations, commissioning activities of 400/132 kV equipments, coordinating with various power stations for preparing shutdown/synchronization plan of generating units, mode of operations of generating units including AGC operation. Good knowledge in EMS application, should have experience in preparing transmission operation related daily report, system abnormal report, ISO procedures, knowledge of safety rules, excellent verbal, technical report writing and managerial skills. |

Coordinating with various power stations for preparing shutdown/synchronization plan, maintaining spinning reserve as per system requirement. Should have experience in preparing transmission operation related daily report and system abnormal report. Should have knowledge of safety rules and excellent communication skills. |

Should have experience in preparing transmission operation related daily report and system abnormal report. Should have knowledge of safety rules and excellent communication skills. |

Minimum 12-15 Years Experience in Power Utility. Shall have excellent knowledge of Operations involved in 400/132kV Substations and in Generating Stations, in scheduling and coordinating shutdown activities, preparing shutdown /contingency plan, commissioning activities of 400/132 kV equipments. Candidate shall have experience in Power Flow/Short Circuit Simulation System Studies and Reactive Power Management of Power system. Having knowledge about the protections involved power system will be preferred. Shall be experienced in preparing ISO Procedures with knowledge of safety rules. The Candidate shall be able to lead a team of Engineers and have excellent verbal, technical report writing and managerial skills. |

Shall have knowledge of Work Permits in electrical system and knowledge of safety rules and regulations. Shall have knowledge of commissioning activities involved at 400/132kV level equipments. Candidates with excellent communication and writing skills in English with valid UAE driving license shall be preferred. |

9. Substation Operator - Ref No: TOD/15/06 |

Diploma in Electrical Engineering |
|
|
|
Minimum 3-5 Years Experience in carrying out Operations of all Equipments at 400/132kV level Substations. Shall have knowledge of Work Permits in electrical system and knowledge of safety rules and regulations. Candidates with excellent communication and writing skills in English with valid UAE driving license shall be preferred. |

10. Engineer - Reporting & Analysis - Ref No: TOD/16/06 |
|
|
|
Degree in Electrical power engineering. |
|
|
|
5-7 Yrs experience in power system operations & familiar with electrical network and equipments. Conversant with preparation of system Daily, Monthly & Annual Reports. Ability to analyze & investigate occurrences that affects the system. Ability to update database with system related information’s. Conversant with ISO 9001,14001 and 18001 related procedures. Should have good communication capabilities, excellent English, awareness about safety rules and regulation in electrical utilities, and adequate level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power point and Access) |

11. Deputy Manager – Energy Management System - Ref No: TOD/17/06 |
|

|
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering |

|
10 years or more experience in EMS & Power system studies field. He should be able to assist and depute the manager of EMS & Studies in managing and supervising EMS, trainings, and Operational System Studies activities. The work includes but not limited to the following: Supervise the work of the section in keeping the EMS application usable, Supervise training issues for the department, Supervise the section work in arranging the DTS trainings with different scenarios, Supervise the section work in maintaining network parameter database, and Supervise the work of the section in PSS/E Steady State/dynamics studies. |

12. EMS Engineer - Ref No: TOD/18/06 |
|

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering. |

5 years or more experience in EMS & Power system studies field Management and shall be responsible for the Energy Management System requirements for administration, maintenance, and usage of the software, and databases. The work includes but not limited to the following: Review the equipment/circuit parameter provided by the contractor, Supervise the installation of the EMS, Keep the EMS applications usable, Provide support and troubleshoot for any problem faced by the users, and Conduct training on all EMS applications. |

13. Senior Power System Analyst - Ref No: TOD/19/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering. |
|
|
|
10 years or more experience in Power system studies field Management and should be able to maintain & improve Steady State and Dynamic PSS/E model for different purposes of studies, and carry-out the specialized studies. The work includes but not limited to the following: Perform power system and engineering studies, Maintain computer software and data, Maintain Steady State/Dynamic PSS/E Operation Model, To carry out Special system studies, and Maintain network parameter database. |

14. Power System Analyst - Ref No: TOD/20/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering. |

|
|
5 years or more experience in Power system studies field Management and should be able to maintain & improve Steady State and Dynamic PSS/E model for different purposes of studies, and carryout the specialized studies. The work includes but not limited to the following: To maintain update Steady State/Dynamic PSS/E Operation Model, To carry out Special system studies, To carry out system stability studies, and Maintain network parameter database. |

15. EMS Specialist (Production Planning) - Ref No: TOD/21/06 |
|
|
|
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering. |
|
|
|
10 years or more experience in Power system studies field Management and shall be responsible for the Energy Management System requirements for administration, maintenance, and usage of the software, and databases. Furthermore, he shall use the EMS application for production planning purposes. The work includes but not limited to the following: Uses EMS applications for best operation of the DEWA electrical system, Coordinate and manage EMS engineering projects, Interacts with other departments regarding EMS, Review the equipment/circuit parameter, Keep the EMS applications usable, Provide support and troubleshoot for any problem faced by the users, and Conduct training on all EMS applications. |
