Extensive experience in maintenance, erection, testing and commissioning of 132kv GIS in a utility or a manufacturer of GIS or contractor of repute. Hands on experience in GIS is preferred. To carryout preventive/ breakdown maintenance of 132kv GIS. To attend emergency maintenance/ troubleshooting and rectify defects in GIS and control circuits. Maintenance of 132kv Gas Insulated switchgear. Independent troubleshooting and handling emergencies. To organize and carryout periodic maintenance (10&20 yearly) of all 132kv GIS. To identify and initiate procurement action for spares required for maintenance of GIS. Verification of Various contractual drawing like electrical control diagrams and layout drawings applicable to 132kv GIS. The applicant should have received extensive training at manufacturers work in maintenance/assembly of GIS. Computer literate and knowledge about quality system.

Minimum 5 years in relevant field. To assist testing commissioning job and to do the relay maintenance. Should be able to work as group leader for protection maintenance works in substations if assigned. Carryout routine relay testing in 400/132kv system under the supervision of engineers. Carryout routine relay test and commissioning tests in 33/11/6.6kv substations. Trouble shooting in protection circuit. Preparing and maintaining test records and filing in the respective files. Monitor the condition of test equipment and test instrument periodically and to report any abnormality to the superiors. Organize the site work to its optimum utility in consideration of time factor. Attending emergencies as and when required. Supervising subordinate staff for commissioning and routine maintenance work. The applicant should have good health and be able work at site for extended hours and training from reputed electricity supply organization is an added advantage.

Minimum 5 years in maintenance of large capacity transformers and on load tap chargers. Wiring/ control cabling work and trouble shooting of control circuits of coolers, taps chargers etc. of transformer. Erection and commissioning test on power transformers. Operation and maintenance of oil filtration plants. Attend to routine and breakdown maintenance of Power and Distribution transformers and associated control circuits of transformer auxiliaries. Attend to routine and breakdown maintenance of 400/132/33kv power and distribution transformers. Witnessing commissioning/erection activities. Maintenance of Oil filtration plants. Shall be able to lead and supervise a team of technician and helpers. The applicant should have training in a transformer manufacturing industry/ utility in maintenance is preferred and should have basic computer knowledge, observing safety practices and should proficient in English (spoken & written).

Minimum 5 years in a reputed utility organization in the similer field especially control wiring of different control panels. Maintenance of 33/11-6.6kv and 11/6.6-0.4kv substation equipment during preventive as well as breakdown maintenance. To perform maintenance, inspection/cheacking of substation equipment during preventive and breakdown maintenance. Trouble shooting and complaint rectification of different types of switchgears (OCB,VCB & GCB), transformers and LVDBs of 33/11-6.6kv and 11-6.6kv substation. Modification of control wiring. The applicant should be computer literate and have safety practices.

Minimum 5 years experience on maintenance/construction H.L washing of 400/132/33kv OHL. To carryout the maintenance of emergency works of 400/132/33kv OHL reliability as per DEWA quality policy. Obtain outage permit of 400/132/33kv OHL and carry out necessary maintenance and ensure safety in all site works. Carry out patrolling of 400/132/33kv OHL. Recording of group activities in the field. Up keeping of materials/tools/ toolbox talk etc. Safety precaution taken by the crew in the group driving work to carry out all sorts of works of 400/132/33kv OHL. The applicant should have training in safety procedure, having basic safety rules and should be good in English (spoken & written).

Minimum 10 years practical experience in overhauling, assembling, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of 132/400kv GIS and SF6 gas handling machine. To assist in work associated with filling and evacuating SF6 gas insulated switchgear. To carryout SF6 Gas quality check. To operate and maintain SF6 gas handling machine. To carryout assembly and dismantling work associated with GIS. To carryout periodic inspection of air compressor. To assist in emergency maintenance of transformer and gas handling machine. To carryout project work and HV test preparation work. Carryout all precautionary safety measure for GIS assembling and maintenance work. The applicant should have training in manufacturer’s work in GIS, and should have computer knowledge and good in English (spoken & written).
