The Adani Port Limited (APL) is the flagship company spearheading the infrastructure activities of the group and has developed an all weather fully functional multi purpose port at Mundra in Gujarat. The port has deepest draft on the West Coast of the country and has berthed fully laden Capesize vessels of 125000 MTs. The port expected to handle close to 5 million tonnes of cargo during this financial year. The port has also built a 57 KMs railway line from Mundra to Adipur giving it national rail connectivity. Mundra port has also entered into agreements with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for setting up their Single Point Moorings (SPMs) and Crude Oil Terminals. These SPMs are expected to start operation from early 2005 and would be handling more than 16.5 million tonnes of crude every year. The group has also been marching ahead intiating development of core infrastructure in Private Sector such as Ports, Gas Distribution. The Group is now looking for competent professionals with a view to boost up the company's ambitious plans.

  Responsibility:
Serve as a member of the senior management team and participate in developing overall policies, programmes,
  objectives and goals.
Raising Capital from domestic and global markets for future growth and development of infrastructure business
  on an ongoing basis. Strategize financing or capitalization to achieve outstanding efficiency in Capital
  Management.
Qualification:
CA / FCA with MBA (Finance)
Experience:
Relevant experience of more than 15 years as CFO or at #2 position of a large organization.
Age group:
40-45 years.
Competencies:
Sound Conceptual and application knowledge about all the financial Functions including Statutory Compliances
  especially in the field of Corporate and Project Finance, Financial Planning & Modeling, Fund Management, Risk
  Management, Deep Understanding of Accounting, Auditing, Budgeting, Banking, Taxation and Money Transfer,
   etc.
Will have personal contacts at the higher levels in the banking & financial world both in India & Abroad.

Role:
Shall Develop Gas Business; set up & operate the complete distribution network.
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. preferably with MBA from institute of repute.
Experience:
Relevant experience of more than 15 years n Gas / Energy sector.
Competencies:
Sound skill for developing & implementing green field Project for Gas transportation and distribution, with a
  flair for Customer relationship.
Person should have business acumen of high order and knowledge of energy sector in the country, particularly
  Gujarat State.
Should have first hand experience of negotiating Gas Supply, Transport & Sales agreements, and thorough
  understanding of different models, commercial terms / implications.
Ability to network with government agencies, Financial institutions, etc.

Qualification:
Engineering Graduate in Mining / Mechanical Discipline preferably with an MBA.

Sound engineering skills in Mining and related areas.
Proven experience of setting up and operations of a mining unit from survey to production.
Proven project management skills and commercial knowledge of operating a mining unit.
Knowledge of Coal and overall Energy scenario both at global and domestic levels.
Ability to network with government agencies, Financial institutions, etc.
