Sr. Technician (Rigging) Job Reference Number : GEN-MM711140 Job Benifits & Candidate Profile: Secondary school certificate/Trade certificate Minimum 6 to 8 years experience as a Rigger in a large power plant, utility, petrochemical, refinery plant or with a large maintenance or erection contracting company. Minimum Educational Qualification Others Job Description: Shall possess good knowledge of rigging practices, like assembly, turning over, and reassembly of heavy precision components of large industrial Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, high pressure heater etc., during overhaul or major inspection. Should have adequate experiences in carrying out above works in Steam/Gas Turbines/vertical pumps /High-pressure boilers etc. Shall have adequate knowledge in crane operation control during rigging, safe crane signals, capacity calculation of rigging items like cranes, slings, hoists, jacks, lifting belts, chain blocks etc. He should have adequate experience in inspecting and servicing of these items. He must have all the knowledge of slinging methods, test method of slings, wire ropes, lifting belt, etc. Knowledge of Experience in building scaffolding will be added advantages.
