| Power Plant Mechanical Technician (Steam/Combined Power Plant) |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirement • Diploma in mechanical technology with at least seven (7) years of related field experience. OR • Technical College Certificate in mechanical technology with ten (10) years of related field experience. Skills: • Good knowledge of maintaining steam turbine generating units, boilers, condensers and associated auxiliaries. • Good understanding of conducting corrective & preventing mechanical maintenance programs. • Good computer skills. • Good standard of English language. Duties & Responsibilities • The jobholder is responsible for conducting mechanical maintenance activities related to generating units, boilers, condensers, associated auxiliaries and other BOP equipment in a combined cycle power plant. • Diagnose and correct mechanical problems. • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance including major overhaul.
