| Minimum Education and Experience Requirement Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 Years) with Technical Diploma plus 17 years related field experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 7-10 years related field experience. Duties & Responsibilities The specialist will be required for the direction of I&C technicians and to provide specialized level of expertise in installation, calibration and maintenance of steam power plant control systems and associated equipment. Core duties include: • Ensure the effectiveness and scope of PM and CM programs for reliable plant operation • Direct and perform testing of control systems for optimum performance. • Propose control systems modifications for upgrading and participate and supervision and direction in their implementation • Provide the expertise in matters related to spare parts stocking • Develop procedures for the periodic calibration ,testing and maintenance of test equipment It is required to act as a source of technical expertise and to contribute in the resolution of complex problems and development of qualified I&C staff.
