Senior Engineer Telecom / Network:

Required Skills:
• Between 30 and 45 years
• BS Degree in Engineering
• Total Experience : 11 Years
• Minimum have experience in engineering and design in telecommunication / power utility company or with consultants involved in relevant project including 3 years in supervisory level in highly technical project.
• Review to update the existing and develop new policies & procedures in regards to telecommunications services.
• Review to establish new standards on telecommunication safety & security requirements within each area responsibility.
• Review to plan, design complex telecommunication systems including voice, data (the operating environments for mainframes, servers, disk and tape storage and the enterprise print systems) and video communications.
• Review to maintain and support highly technical voice, data and video communication systems within the organization.
• Review to work with ITC staff to assess complex telecommunications systems capabilities and determine long-range needs.
• Review to research, test and evaluate determine efficiency, reliability and compatibility with existing systems. Identify areas of operation, which need upgraded equipment. Recommend required associated hardware and/ or software.
• Evaluate the plan, design and organize construction, installation, operation and maintenance of telecommunications power systems networks including; power systems line carrier (PLC), fiber optic, pilot cable multiplexes, PABX and other associated interface equipment.
• Evaluate to schedule and coordinate preparation of design, related data and correspondence to meet the objectives or all phases of engineering programs.
• Review to comply all elements of telecommunications project together and ensure that all phases proceed satisfactory as scheduled and within available resources.
• Review the estimation of complex telecommunications, engineering, labor, equipment and materials based on analysis of design standards and specifications; prepare the expenditure request and justifications.
• Review to act as liaison engineer with contractors on assigned complex projects.
• Keep up to date with technical advances in his related field for necessary implementation.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements in telecommunications of electrical companies.
• Must be computer literate and ability to use relevant design engineering application software will be considered as an additional qualification.

Telecom Engineer:

• Minimum nine (9) years experience in telecommunication projects particularly in planning, design and engineering of optical networks.
• Recognized as an expert in one or more engineering disciplines.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures on various engineering fields.
• Has a skill in computer based project, resource and other information management systems and in the effective use of project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.
• Knows how to drive and must possess a valid driving license.
• Experienced in internet protocol networking technology, router and switch configuration.
• Experienced in fiber optic systems in aspects of operations and maintenance.
• Experienced in teleprotection signaling equipment in aspects of operations and maintenance.
• Experienced in UHF Radio and HDSL systems in aspects of operations and maintenance.

Project Engineer – Telecom :

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.

• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of his job.
