JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitor voltage, current, and power transmitted on 220 kV and 132 KV transmission lines and transformers. Follow up Maintenance of 220KV and 132KV transmission equipment by preparing of switching programs and coordinate with Field Operation Engineers. Remote Operation of equipment by SCADA system Study the system condition and coordinate with dispatch engineer in Load Dispatch centre. Ensure strict compliance of safety procedures. Study and analysis of operational risk Preparation of reports related to the operation and dispatch function.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in operation of 220 kV, 132 kV and 33 kV equipment – Various types of Switchgears, Transformers, OHL, cables and auxiliary equipment Good understanding of Safety Rules, Protection systems and Relays and first level trouble shooting Good communication skills, and reporting skills Good level of Computer skills, SCADA operation, configuration and report preparation Working effectively in a team comprising of different nationalities Planning of operations, preparation of switching programs, analysis of operational risk and decision making, prepare contingency plans for emergency conditions. Issue and cancel safety documents and follow-up safety documents, permit to work, limitation of access, sanction for test and any relative document pertaining to the operation and dispatch of the transmission system Ready to work in shift duties.
