JOB DESCRIPTION
Coordinate power and load management with all parties involved in real time- Power stations, Distribution companies, water department. External utilities Prepare short-term load forecasts, Unconstrained and constrained dispatch schedules, plan load profile power stations in advance. Remote Operation of equipment by SCADA system. Study the system condition and coordinate with Operation engineer in Load Dispatch centre. Ensure strict compliance of safety procedures. Study and analysis of operational risk. Preparation of reports related to the operation and dispatch function. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years experience in Power Dispatch and Operation coordination in a large utility with SCADA/EMS environment. Good understanding of Economic Operation System, Generation Unit Behavior, Tariff calculations and Power System behaviour. Good Understanding of Safety Rules and Power System behaviour. Good communication and reporting writing skills. Good level of Computer skills, SCADA operation, configuration and report preparation. Working effectively in a team comprising of different nationalities. Ready to work in shift duties.
