Information
This is an IT Business Analyst position for priceline.com's
Financial Accounting and Reporting systems. The qualified
candidate must meet all technical qualifications as well as
possess good communications and people skills. He or she must be
able to work independently as well as within a team environment,
be motivated and be a quick learner.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining and enhancing
the Geac (Clarus) Accounting System for current and future
projects.
- Providing client service and
user interface for entire accounting staff.
- Handling developer and
administation functions for FrX system.
- Reporting, including
year-end audits and 1099 filing.
- Assisting with maintenance
of yearly budgets.
- Developing and maintaining
accounting and finance related reports.
- Handling system issues,
including setup of new users, testing new application
processes, resolving reconcilation issues and modifying
system configurations.
Job Requirements
- 2 - 5 years professional
business accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in IT,
Accounting or Finance, MBA a +
- Good working knowledge of
all financial and accounting statements.
- Financial application
support experience, including: General Ledger, Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Budgets and 1099
processing.
- Technical skills required
include: Geac (Clarus), SQL, Report writer experience (Brio
preferred), Database/Oracle knowledge, Informatica a plus.
Relocation is not provided for
this position.
