JOB DESCRIPTION :
Education: Bachelor`s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in an electrical utility out of which 5 years in System Planning.
Grade: MM3
Conduct system planning functions such as updating of Load Forecast / System Master Plan, preparation of Project Parameter Reports, allocation of source of supply to bulk loads, distribution planning studies etc with the objective to ensure reliable, safe and effective operation and expansion of DEWA system conforming to International Standards and DEWA approved quality criteria, practices & procedures. Preparation of 33 kV system augmentation report after analysing the 33 kV system performance during the last summer in order to recommend measures to meet the contingencies in the succeeding years. Skills and knowledge in statistical analysis, system modeling & analysis, report writing, computer usage etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Candidate must have minimum 10-12 years experience in a large Power Station. He must have worked as a Maintenance Engineer involving routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of a Medium and heavy duty Steam Turbines, Back pressure steam turbines, power pumps, NG gas compressor etc. Should be well experienced in the overhaul/Major/Minor inspections of Steam Turbines and its auxiliaries. Should-have-capability of effectively plan, Monitor overhauls schedule to achieve high-reliability and efficiency of the plant. Should have experience in troubleshooting of the equipment malfunctions and finalize short term/ long-term corrective actions. Should have adequate writing/communication skills to prepare reports, tender specifications, contract documents etc.He shall be responsible for preparation of maintenance budget, control and effective utilization of the same. Should have experience in spare parts planning, purchase and inspection activities. Should have good knowledge of computerized Maintenance management system . Should have good knowledge of Safety, OHSAS and ISO standards.

Shall have extensive experience and knowledge on maintenance and commissioning of all types of protection and metering equipments in 33/11/6.6KV distribution network. Shall be able to write the investigation report on fault finding. Shall have experience in FAT and International standards.

Responsible to identify, investigate and report all kind of network deficiencies and major occurrences. And proposed appropriate recommendations accordingly. Experience in dealing with Distribution network reliability indices. Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of distribution network indices and relevant KPIs criteria’s and parameters. Responsible to review and develop the operation, protection and maintenance practices and procedures for optimum reliability and availability of the system. Conversant with safety rules in Electrical utility. Excellent English & computer skills.
