JOB DESCRIPTION :
The candidate should have Minimum 5 years experience as Fire apparatus operator in a Government Fire Brigades / fire force. Age limit: 25 to 35 years.

Candidates must be high school certificate holder and passed fire apparatus driver/operator professional qualifications from Government fire brigades/fire force. He must be able to drive all types of fire fighting trucks including snorkel or aerial apparatus off road and on road, control and operate, elevating devices, fire pumps, portable fire pumps and other rescue equipment. He must apply safe methods in executing his job. He must carry out routine and daily operators’ checks and maintain the apparatus and equipments in good working condition in line with fire brigade standard operating procedures. Must be able to able to read and write reports. Excellent written/spoken English and computer skills to use MS Office software and ability to work in a team. Must carryout any other instructions given by Superiors. Must be willing to work in shifts.

   
Assistant Engineer (Condition Monitoring) (MM1) Ref TMD/112/07
 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
The candidate

-- should have experience in testing of HV switchgear from 11kV to 400kV.

-- should have knowledge of application of state of the art intelligent units for condition monitoring of HV & EHV equipment like GIS, transformers, OHL & Underground cables,

-- should have knowledge of planning & technical coordination with consultants/manufacturers.

   
 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
10- 12 years Experience in Power Utility. Should have excellent knowledge of Operations involved in 400/132kV Substations and in Generating Stations, commissioning activities of 400/132 kV. Should be capable of managing & supervising all functions of the section. Initiate detail investigation & analysis of network disturbances and guide the team of engineers.
Ability to design & review Daily, Monthly & Annual Reports, interconnection reports, system abnormality report. Should manage & supervise all functions of the department related to ISO 9001,14001 and 18001.
Good analytical, administrative & presentation skills. Excellent communication & managerial skills. Well conversant with computer knowledge.

   
Manager Reporting & Analysis (Grade SM2) Ref TOD/205/07
 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
12 -15 years Experience in Power Utility. Should have excellent knowledge & experience of Operations involved in 400 /132kV Substations and in Generating stations, commissioning activities of 400 /132 kV equipments, power interconnection issues
Ability to lead, manage and provide necessary guidance to the team of reporting engineers analyzes & investigates occurrences that affect the system.
Should have excellent administrative capabilities dealing with all administrative activities of the department including manpower, budgeting, etc.
Conversant with ISO 9001,14001 and 18001 related procedures.
Should have good communication capabilities, technical reporting skills, excellent English, awareness about safety rules and regulation in electrical utilities, and Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power point and Access).

   
Sr System Protection Engr Grade MM3 Ref TOD/204/07

Minimum 8-10Years Experience in Power Utility. Shall have excellent knowledge of EHV Transmission protection up to 400kV.The job role is to study & review EHV protection system with following responsibilities.
• Revi ew protection philosophy, perform protection setting calculation
• Prepare training programmed for subordinates,
• Power system disturbance analysis.
• Approval of new protection devices.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Minimum 15 or higher in word known Power utility in similar position.
The Job role is To support & provide guide lines to DEWA Protection team in handling of protection related matters such as Protection coordination, short circuit studies, updating of short circuit models, monitoring of protection principal and practices with in DEWA candidates shall have following responsibility.
• Perfor m the protection relay coordination study for DEWA transmission network and give recommendation to enhance the system stability.
• Develop a guideline for relay setting calculation in DEWA system.
• Prepared Protection specification, code & standard for DEWA network.
• Review the existing protection logic & give recommendation in Line with modern protection practices.
• Power system disturbance analysis & give recommendation for system improvement.
• Review of system related issues & prepare development programmed to enhance the system reliability.

EMS Specialist (Production Planning) Grade SM1 Ref TOD/202/07
 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
10 years or more experience in Power system studies field

We are seeking an “EMS Specialist (Production Planning)” in our “Energy Management System & Studies” section who shall be responsible for the Energy Management System requirements for administration, maintenance, and usage of the software, and databases. Furthermore, he shall use the EMS application for production planning purposes. The work includes but not limited to the following:
1. Uses EMS applications for best operation of the DEWA electrical system.
2. Coordinate and manage EMS engineering projects.
3. Interacts with other departments regarding EMS design, quality, testing and related issues to ensure adherence to EMS and that the users expectations and requirements are met.
4. Review the equipment/circuit parameter provided by the contractor.
5. Supervise the installation of the EMS, and keep the EMS applications usable.
6. Conduct daily review on the accuracy and functionality of the EMS application, and carryout necessary tuning and rectification.
7. Provid e support and troubleshoot for any problem faced by the users.
8. Conduct training on all EMS applications for new engineer, and also refreshing trainings to the users on regular basis.
9. Write all required reports for the EMS, which requested by the superiors.
10. To handle / maintain EMS contractual related issues.
11. Involved in other activates such as: preparing documents & ISO procedures.
12. Perform all other duties assigned by superiors.

   
Senior Power System Analyst Grade MM3 Ref TOD/201/07
 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.

10 years or more experience in Power system studies field. We are seeking a “Senior Power System Analyst” in our “Energy Management System & Studies” section to maintain & improve Steady State and Dynamic PSS/E model for different purposes of studies, and carryout the specialized studies. The work includes but not limited to the following:
Perform power system and engineering studies.
Provide technical support to field personnel.
Maintain computer software and data to conduct power system and engineering studies.
Review reports prepared by others for completeness and format correctness.
Prepare, maintain & update Steady State PSS/E Operation Model for current year and upcoming years.
Prepare, maintain & update Dynamic PSS/E Operation Model for current year and upcoming years.

Senior Engineer (Transmission Operation Planning Development)
 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
8- 10 years of experience in a similar capacity. Power utility experience will be preferred. The job requires excellent knowledge of ISO procedures and quality control of the documents/reports. In depth knowledge about information management is a must. The person should be able to recommend new procedures and modifications in the existing ones. Recommending / developing new tools (Software/Hardware) for the efficient utilization of the resources and increased productivity/safety, will also be the part of the portfolio. The person will be expected to coordinate with all the team members and concerned departments to develop proper documentation formats and ensure the adherence to ISO procedures. The skill set must include excellent verbal, technical report writing and management skills with a high level of Computer literacy especially in MS Office and other engineering related softwares.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering

10 years or more experience in EMS & Power system studies field. We are seeking a “Deputy Manager” for our “Energy Management System & Studies” section to assist and depute the manager of EMS & Studies in managing and supervising EMS, trainings, and Operational System Studies activities. The work includes but not limited to the following:
Supervise the work of the section in commissioning new equipment in EMS point of view. Supervise the work of the section in keeping the EMS application usable. Supervise the work of the section in conducting training on all EMS applications for new engineer, and also refreshing trainings to the users on regular basis. Write all required reports for the EMS, which requested by the superiors. Supervise the work of the section in handling / maintaining EMS & DTS “Dispatcher Training Simulator” contractual related issues. Supervise Training requirements, conductance, and other activities. Supervise the section work in arranging the DTS trainings with different scenarios. Supervise the section work in arranging for the Work Permit and Caution Permit presentations and tests for the working parties. Supervise the section work in maintaining network parameter database. Supervise the work of the section in preparation, maintaining and updating Steady State PSS/E Operation Model. Supervise the work of the section in preparation, maintaining, and updating Dynamic PSS/E Operation Model.
