JOB DESCRIPTION :
The candidate should have:
5 years experience in Substation Automation (SCMS)/SCADA system. Prepare/modify Technical Specification for Substation Automation (SCMS) for future DEWA projects, Plan and prepare procedures for installing, testing and commissioning of new Substation Automation (SCMS) in new 400/132/11kV Substations. Carry out SCADA field modification, Installing, Commissioning, upgrading and troubleshooting and attend snags and defects related to Substation Automation (SCMS) and any other related work

JOB DESCRIPTION :
The candidate should
-- have experience in the transmission Lines OHL commissioning including: Supervision of 400/132KV overhead lines commissioning works.
-- be able to attend site meeting of transmission OHL projects works, checking drawings, technical specifications, data etc. related to transmission overhead lines.
-- be able to prepare comments as per DEWA specifications for implementation of transmission OHL commissioning, testing & commissioning of transmission 400/132KV OHL works, prepare technical reports, snags/defects rectification works etc. handling of turnkey projects.
-- be able to check test formats for site acceptance/commissioning tests submitted by the contractor and prepare comments on that, knowledge of international standards of transmission OHL e.g. IEC/BS and other international standards, familiar with safety practices.

-- be be capable of scrutinize manufacturer’s drawings, factory test procedures and factory test reports related to Power Transformers & Shunt Reactors.

-- have knowledge of routine and break down maintenance of 400/132/33kV power transformers and 132kV shunt reactors
