Minimum Education and Experience Requirement Power control dispatcher • 12 Year Schooling Certificate with 2 years technical education plus 10 years related field experience. • Very Good command of written and verbal English • Very Good PC skills in related software. Duties & Responsibilities • Monitor and control the company power system using Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) during normal and emergency operating conditions. Maintain narrative log of all events occurring with his assigned functional area and prepare data tabulations as directed. • Monitor control board showing operating condition of lines and equipment throughout system and make adjustments as conditions warrant. • Participate to maintain optimum overall system reliability through coordination of generation plants, power transmission lines and transformers loading to ensure adequate production of electric power to meet customer demand and minimization of fuel usage.
