Minimum Education and Experience Requirement University Degree in Electrical Engineering. 10-15 years of experience in at least one or more of the following: (a) Maintenance and operation of overhead Transmission Lines – 115 kV & above. (b) Construction, testing and commissioning of Transmission Lines – 69 kV & above. (c) Live (hot) line experience &/or bare hand techniques for overhead lines – 115 kV & above shall be preferred. Duties & Responsibilities • Prepare reports and liaise with other departments and external parties to satisfy requirements of assignment. • Directs and coordinates the investigation of Transmission Line components failures and produce recommendations to rectify the deficiencies. • Conducts special engineering studies on system problems. • Recommend and develop modification packages of existing facilities. Co-ordinate and supervise specialized tests as required. • Good presentation skills. • Very good communication skills. • Very good English speaking and writing. • Very good PC skills in related software. • Has valid driving license for light vehicles.
