Minimum Education and Experience Requirement Qualification, Skill & Experience University Degree in Electrical engineering field with 12 years of experience. Very Good English speaking and writing Very Good PC skills in related software Duties & Responsibilities Participate to direct and control round the clock operation of the Supervisory and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the assigned Area in order to provide efficient and reliable operations. Participate to review all transmission maintenance schedules and revise or cancel schedules as required to maintain the reliable system operations. Participate to coordinate and make notifications for all unscheduled outages with Regional Dispatch Center, Transmission, Generation Plants, Area Dispatch Center and Major Bulk Customer personal prior to implementation. Participate to keep supervision appraised of current system status, capability and security. Monitor the overall current system status through close review of logs, computer system data, field reports and monitoring of actions taken by Shift Dispatchers. Participate to issue system performance reports including generation and transmission availability, manual load shedding, system disturbances and energy interchanges. Participate to Plan and Design Network Substations, Under Ground Cables and Overhead lines as per Companys standards. Participate to Plan and Design New Network extensions supplying new customers as required. Participate to Plan and Design system improvement as required. Assist in specialized engineering studies when required. Apply for this Job |
