Senior Executive –
Demand Management Ref# CRD/R70/05
Post Graduate or
Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years’
experience in power operations of which at least 3 years should have
been in transmission and distribution operations. Should have knowledge
of transmission and distribution operations, load dispatch center
operations, load dispatch policy development, switching, grid operations
and parameterization, demand side management tools and techniques.
Should have an in-depth understanding of power utilities business.
Develop the load dispatch and demand side management
strategy for the operations and maintenance functional strategy to
ensure optimum demand supply balance.
Develop policies,
processes, systems to collect and maintain data (internal and external)
to facilitate accurate forecast of power consumption patterns. Initiate
and develop policies for Demand Side Management and schemes for
up-gradation of energy management systems and time-of-use metering.
Develop load forecast for the company based on demand
side studies, coordinate with Transmission and Distribution Operations
to implement load forecast plans; coordinate with bulk users and
industries to optimise load curve and demand supply balances to ensure
that load forecasts are developed and deployed effectively.
Conduct demand side management Studies through usage profiling, liaise
with other regional power companies to understand demand side management
practices and prepare reports highlighting the key demand side
management requirements of the company, to ensure that the power demand
is studies and managed effectively. Lead and guide subordinates by
providing them with technical guidance, training and the required growth
opportunities to ensure that subordinates are developed for higher-level
roles. |
