41.Foreman – Dist. Cables [CTFR] Ref# MNT/278/05

Qualification: Diploma in Engineering Or Trade Certificate

Minimum of 7 years experience in underground medium voltage power & Pilot cable maintenance in a power utility organization. Experienced in Underground Distribution Cable fault location using sophisticated Cable test vans/portable equipments and supervision of the complete repairing process including excavation, cable jointing and termination works (Up to 33 kV System Voltage). Good knowledge in medium voltage XLPE and PILC power and Pilot Cable construction details. Insulation and continuity testing of Cable circuits. Route tracing and Identification of medium voltage cables using relevant equipments. Knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting fault locating equipments and instruments. Ability to lead a large multi lingual work force. Good knowledge Safety regulations and procedures for working in Sub Stations and applicable to High voltage. Computer Literate and fluency in written and spoken English. Age blow Thirty five.

42.Assistant Engineer Maint.- Distribution Protection [DPM] Ref# MNT/279/05

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Responsible for 33/11/6.6 KV Relay testing and other activities pertaining to Distribution protection. Responsible for 33/11/6.6 KV Meter testing activities against complaints. Organize and guide Forman and technician for 33/11/6.6 KV new Substation maintenance activities pertaining protection. Prepare monthly and yearly maintenance schedule and updating in database. Attend emergencies by solving the protection related problem. Thorough knowledge of safety Practices and computer literate.

43.Engineer- Maint.- Distribution Protection [DPM] Ref# MNT/280/05

Degree in Electrical Engineering

10 years experience in relevant field. Shall have extensive experience and knowledge in maintenance and commissioning of all types of protection equipments and metering equipments in 33/11/6.6KV distribution network. Shall have experience on fault analysis and preparing abnormality reports. Shall have experience in checking of protection scheme & protection drawings and modification of protection/metering schemes. Shall have experience on inspection of protection and metering equipment at site and factory. Shall have knowledge on international standards related to protection and metering equipment. Shall have knowledge on numerical relays. Shall have experience on organizing emergency breakdown and trouble shootings Shall have experience on using computerized testing equipments and to carry out testing of all type of relays used in 33/11/6.6KV system. Shall have experience in preparing maintenance schedule. Shall have training on Safety / Computer /Quality Procedure. Thorough knowledge of safety Practices and computer literate.

44.Electrician [DPM] Ref# MNT/281/05

Diploma / Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering from recognized institute

A minimum of 3 years in relevant field. To assist testing and commissioning job and to do the relay maintenance works. Carry out routine relay testing in (33/11/6.6 kV) system under the supervision of engineers. Shall have knowledge on electrical circuits and able to prepare connection for protection relay testing. Shall be able to Prepare and maintain test records. Monitor the condition of test equipments and test instrument periodically and to report any abnormality to the superiors. Organize the site work to its optimum utility in consideration of time factor. Experience in the reputed electricity supply organization is an added advantage. Shall have knowledge on safety practices in electrical maintenance work. Shall have good communication ability in English. Should have good health and be able to work at site for extended hours.

45.Sr. Electrician [DPM] Ref# MNT/282/05

Diploma / Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering from recognized institute

Minimum of 5 years experience should have in relevant field. To assist testing and commissioning job and to do the relay maintenance works. 46.Foreman [DPM] Ref# MNT/283/05

Diploma/Trade certificate in Electrical Engineering from recognized institute

5 years experience for Diploma holders or 10 years experience for Trade certificate holders in electricity utility in the related fields. Should be able to carry out testing job at site as a team leader. Shall have experience in carry out routine relay testing in 33/11/6.6 kV system. Shall have knowledge on testing of Electro- mechanical, static and numerical protective relays for Distribution System. Shall be able to read the protection drawings and carry out trouble shooting in protection circuits. Monitor the condition of test equipments and test instruments periodically and to report any abnormality to the superiors. Shall be able to write reports, and maintaining test records. Shall be able to supervise the commissioning and relay testing works. Shall be able to use computerized test equipments. Experience in the reputed electricity supply organization is an added advantage.. Should have through knowledge of Safety practices and Computer literate. Shall have good communication ability in English.

47.Engineer – Distribution Overhead Lines [DOHL] Ref# MNT/284/05

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 10 years overall experience with minimum 7 years relevant experience with a utility or reputed electrical organization. Should have experience in 33/11/6.6 KV Overhead line construction, maintenance activities. Candidate should be able to plan/program/schedule the sectional maintenance activities, co-ordinate/liaise with other departments of DEWA and other utilities, organization, etc, attend site visit for deferent projects, maintenance and other disputed issues, distribution line construction, co-ordinate during faults at day/night as and when required, Diversification of staff utilization, improve overhead line network, etc. Conversant with international standards specification, safety regulations and procedure for working on electric supply equipment. Should have good interpersonal skills, internal coordination , good commanding power, proficiency in report writing/communnication.

48.Lineman – Distribution Overhead Lines [DOHL] Ref# MNT285/05

Qualification: Secondary school certificate and Trade certificate in Electrical from recognized institute/Lineman training course certificate from electrical utility company.

Minimum 8 years experience in the relevant field experience with a utility or reputed electrical organization. Candidate Should have experience in 33/11/6.6 KV Overhead line construction, maintenance and emergency fault rectification works..etc. candidate should be able to receive the outage & caution permit of 33/11/6.6KV OHL and carryout necessary maintenance & ensure safety in all site works as per departmental procedure for obtaining trouble free performance of the distribution overhead lines. proficiency in written and spoken English.

49.Assistant Engineer-Distribution Cables: [RWP] Ref# MNT/287/05

Qualification: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 7 years experience for Degree Holders and 10 Years for Diploma holders in a utility company or reputed organization. Should have experience in 33, 11, 6.6 KV cable installation contracts, Project execution, Preparing estimates for cable installation, Diversion of Power and Pilot cables, Protection of existing HV cables, verification of method statements for protection of HV cables, coordination and preparation HV cable damage claims, preparation of First Investigation Reports, issue of materials as per site requirements, scheduling & attending HV cable shutdown, technical knowledge of HV cable laying, monitoring of applications for general construction NOCs, Operation knowledge of switchgears and RMU etc. Conversant with international standards specification, Safety regulations and procedure for working on electric supply equipment

50.Technician-Distribution Cables: [RWP] Ref# MNT/288/05

Qualification: ITI in Electrical Trade or equivalent

Overall 5 Years experience and 3 years experience in the relevant field in a reputed organization. Should have experience in 33, 11, 6.6 KV cable installation, supervision of Power and Pilot cable relocation, Protection of existing HV cables, assisting HV cable shutdown for relocation works, supervision of civil works near to HV cables, prevention of HV cable damages, familiar with electrical network drawings, knowledge of HV cable laying, Operation knowledge of switchgears and RMU etc. The candidate must possess excellent communication and English skills, and ability to work in a team oriented environment. Conversant with international standards specification, Safety regulations and procedure for working on electric supply equipment.
